APPLETON, WIS. – Anthony T. Busch, owner of Priora® Cash Flow Management, LLC was recognized by the Wisconsin office of the U.S. Small Business Administration as its 2015 Financial Services Champion.

Busch was presented with the award during the 30th annual Small Business Awards Breakfast on June 5, 2015 at the Hilton City Center in Milwaukee. The Small Business Awards are presented annually by the SBA to recognize people and organizations critical to making Wisconsin’s small business community successful.

Busch was selected as “Wisconsin’s finest example of a dynamic participant in our state’s economy” for his work toward sustaining and building the vitality of Wisconsin’s small business environment. Busch was nominated by Dan Schneider of the Wisconsin Business Development Finance Corp.

In addition to his business achievements, Busch was also recognized for volunteering countless hours of service to the Fox Cities SCORE chapter, assisting small business entrepreneurs to learn how to access capital. He’s also the host of BizTalk, a weekly radio program for SCORE on WHBY 1150AM on Saturday mornings.

After 30 years in the banking business, Busch launched the Appleton, Wis.-based Priora® Cash Flow Management, LLC to teach motivated business owners to improve financial performance. His vision, “Applying Financial Literacy®,” was his motivation to develop customized software systems now used in several states by business owners. Busch’s background as a business lender and president of a community bank gives him the experience and perspective needed to best help businesses reach their goals.

“My goal is to teach motivated business owners how to apply their financial literacy to their business resulting in improved profitability, stronger banking relationships, and being able to sleep better at night,” Busch said.

A second system Busch developed, Priora® Financialyzer®, is used by business lenders around the country to underwrite each business loan request and to monitor risks in their business loan portfolios. To support this system, Busch has been on-site conducting business loan portfolio reviews of policies, practices and procedures, as well as training internal staff to improve their risk management practices.

Busch also offers presentations to business owners to teach them to manage banking relationships – instead of being managed by them.
